Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

PickNDeal ("we", "us", "our") is a food supplier marketplace operated by Ergonational APS, Denmark. We connect restaurants, suppliers, and consumers through our web and mobile applications.

2. Data we collect

• Account data: name, email address, phone number, business name, and role (restaurant, supplier, or consumer). For business consumers: CVR number for Danish faktura.
• Order data: items ordered, quantities, prices, delivery details, and order history.
• Usage data: pages visited, features used, and device information (browser type, OS).
• Communications: messages exchanged through the platform chat and AI assistant.
• Payment data: we never see your card number — Stripe collects and stores it. We see only the last four digits, card brand, and expiry for your saved-cards list.
• Supplier payout data: if you are a supplier, your IBAN, KYC documents, and CVR/CPR are collected by Stripe directly during Connect onboarding for the purpose of paying you. We never store these documents.

3. How we use your data

• Provide and operate the marketplace platform.
• Process orders and facilitate communication between buyers and suppliers.
• Generate smart suggestions and analytics based on your order history.
• Send transactional notifications (order updates, offer alerts).
• Improve our services and fix issues.

4. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Other platform users: your business name and contact details are visible to counterparties in a transaction.
• Service providers: Supabase (database hosting); Stripe Payments Europe Ltd (card processing AND, for suppliers, Stripe Connect Express identity verification + bank payouts — Stripe collects KYC documents and your IBAN directly, we do not see them); Resend (email delivery); Anthropic (AI features).
• Legal obligations: when required by Danish or EU law.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. After account deletion, we remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised order data may be retained for analytics purposes.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:

• Access your personal data.
• Rectify inaccurate data.
• Request erasure of your data.
• Object to or restrict processing.
• Data portability.

7. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through our account deletion page. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

8. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

10. How payouts to producers work

When a consumer subscribes to a group order, their card is charged the listed item price plus PickNDeal's service fee. Stripe routes the listed price directly to the producer's bank account; the service fee lands with PickNDeal. PickNDeal never custodies the producer's payout. For Danish business consumers ordering as a business, your CVR number is shared with the producer's Stripe account so it appears on the faktura.
